And I must say that I am very happy about this.  I found this book to be quite boring and although I am glad that Sophie’s story about her parents has been told, I had predicted correctly.  Therefore, there really was not much excitement in the book.  Although there was a giant wave that almost destroyed the boat, I found that to be very predictable also because the obvious climax to a story that takes place on a boat would be a giant storm.  I also found Sophie’s way of talking as very annoying because she constantly repeats the same phrases several times.  The book itself also was very repetitive and contained only a few conflicts.  I am hoping that the ending will be emotional since Sophie has finally met Bompie but I am not giving my hopes up.

I decided to post this picture becuase Sophie constantly talks about The Wave nightmare and a giant storm also occurs, almost destroying The Wanderer.
