I’ve been wanting to dye my hair for a while, but I don’t want anything that lasts too long. So I looked at Manic Panic Hair Dye. Some people say that it lasts for one wash and some say for 4-6 weeks. So whats the truth? I only want something that lasts maybe 2-3 days at most. Do any of their dye last that long? And if so how long should I leave it in for? And if a certain color lasts less than others which one is best for short term?
manic panic (and all bright hair dyes) require naturally very light or bleached hair in order to show up. manic panic, in my experience, fades after 3 washes or so (i used to use blue), but it’s still in your hair, it’s just less bright. my friend tried to get it to completely wash out, and it’s still slightly tinted after a year. you would have to dye it some other color to get it to go away completely.
